Rare Entity is delighted to announce that acclaimed music executive, entrepreneur and business leader Vicky Dowdall has joined the company as Partner, Business Development.
Over the past two decades, Vicky has established herself as one of the music industry's most respected architect-builders of artist careers and creative businesses. From managing globally successful talent to launching independent ventures, she has consistently demonstrated how creative vision, entrepreneurial thinking and strategic partnerships can unlock lasting value from intellectual property.
Throughout her career, Vicky has championed a creator-first approach, managing globally successful artists including Nina Nesbitt, Ella Henderson, Cody Frost and Olivia Sebastianelli. As an independent manager, she has consistently helped artists navigate changing industry landscapes while building enduring commercial success.
As the long-time manager of platinum-selling singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt, Vicky has helped shape an independent career built on ownership, longevity and global success. She later co-founded Apple Tree Records alongside Nina, creating a label designed to empower artists with greater creative freedom while developing sustainable, forward-thinking business models around their work.
Alongside her work as a manager and entrepreneur, Vicky has become a respected voice within the music industry, serving on the Board of the Music Managers Forum (MMF) and championing the next generation of artist managers and creators. Her career has been defined not simply by discovering talent, but by building the partnerships, infrastructure and opportunities that enable creative people to thrive.
At Rare Entity, Vicky will lead Business Development, working with creators, founders, rights holders and strategic partners to identify new opportunities and help transform exceptional ideas and intellectual property into enduring businesses. Vicky joins a stellar team at Rare Entity including co-founder Dave Stewart, Partner, Strategic Development, Arnon Woolfson, Creative Jonus Åkerlund and Strategic Partner, Korda Marshall.
