Rare Originals are new creative worlds conceived and developed within Rare, in close collaboration with our network of Rare Creatives and led by creative maestro Dave Stewart.

Zombie Broadway
Zombie Broadway is an irreverent, high energy musical universe that mixes satire, dark comedy and underground attitude. It takes place in a chaotic New York where music becomes both survival and rebellion, creating a world that feels graphic, theatrical and cinematic all at once. The tone is wild and self aware, the world is colourful and unhinged, and the story is built for audiences who love cult storytelling. Zombie Broadway is designed to scale into theatre, film, immersive experience and a wider catalogue of characters, music and lore.
Floating Upstream
Floating Upstream is a children’s universe filled with imagination, warmth and emotional discovery. It follows a cast of characters who navigate big feelings with curiosity and music at the centre of the storytelling. The world is gentle, dreamlike and full of wonder, with narratives that support both play and emotional intelligence. Floating Upstream is created to grow into books, audio stories, songs, live family experiences and shared moments that pass through generations.
Truth Be Told
Truth Be Told is a cultural entertainment format built around honesty, humour and real connection. It blends conversation, storytelling, music and live energy, exploring topics that feel personal and universal at the same time. The tone is warm, sharp and authentic, creating a space where people speak plainly and audiences feel seen. Truth Be Told is designed for live environments, filmed formats, digital extensions and community driven experiences that build an ongoing dialogue with its audience.

ICED is a groundbreaking collaboration with Art on Ice, bringing an epic fusion of dance, figure skating and storytelling into one immersive world. The experience takes audiences through a series of dynamic realms, each filled with its own dangers, characters and challenges. World class skaters move as part of the narrative, turning the ice into a living stage.ICED also introduces an interactive game element where the crowd influences key moments in real time, creating a performance that shifts with every show. Built to expand into film, live performance and a distinctive visual audio universe, ICED is a bold and modern Rare Original.
